In this post, I want to share some other songs which I did not categorise elsewhere yet but which I do enjoy very much too.

From Fantasy, this is Shanghai 1943. a piece with an old-school feel and a nice melody; I love the way he harmonises in the second half of the song!

Love this live performance from The One concert! Beautiful improvisation in the middle. He did not sing this in subsequent concert DVDs.

From The Eight Dimensions, this is The Orcs, with a MV which looks like a video game!

Maltose aka Mai Ya Tang is one of those nice breezy songs which Jay manages to make interesting despite using only a limited number of notes in his inimitable rap style.

From Exclamation Mark, this is Healing Roast Meat Buns aka Liao Shang Shao Rou Zong, a very pleasant rap song with a catchy chorus. MV is wistfully cute. :)

Also from Exclamation Mark, I love Enchanting Melody aka Mi Hun Qu as Jay goes through about four different voices in the song and the interweaving themes are excellent! Vincent's lyrics are amazing too. BUT I take issue with Jay's MV as it's eerily similar to a Hollywood movie which did very well...I somehow expected something a little more original from Mr Chou. This MV remains the only one which has been a 'disappointment' of sort. But then again, in view of the multitude of awesome ones that he has done, I really should not be too hard on him...right? ;)
