In this post, I want to share some other songs which I did not categorise elsewhere yet but which I do enjoy very much too.
From JAY, this is Istanbul aka Yi Si Dan Bu, a very smooth and easy-listening track.
From Fantasy, this is Shanghai 1943. a piece with an old-school feel and a nice melody; I love the way he harmonises in the second half of the song!
Love this live performance from The One concert! Beautiful improvisation in the middle. He did not sing this in subsequent concert DVDs.
From The Eight Dimensions, this is The Orcs, with a MV which looks like a video game!
And Iron Box Of An Island aka Ban Dao Tie He, a slow and quite romantic rap song with a very peaceful feel.
From Ye Hui Mei, this is Her Eyelashes aka Ta De Jie Mao.
From Common Jasmine Orange, this is My Territory, with an interesting school-story type MV and touch of Chinese style!
From CJO, this is Casualties of Stopping War, an enigmatic song about war.
Maltose aka Mai Ya Tang is one of those nice breezy songs which Jay manages to make interesting despite using only a limited number of notes in his inimitable rap style.
From Still Fantasy, Popular Imitation aka Hong Mo Fang, about other people imitating his style...read the lyrics!
From Exclamation Mark, this is Healing Roast Meat Buns aka Liao Shang Shao Rou Zong, a very pleasant rap song with a catchy chorus. MV is wistfully cute. :)
And to end this post, I shall share two awesome duets.
The first one is Rooftop aka Wu Ding, originally sung by Jacky Wu and Landy Wen.
However, I shall post one of my fave live performances where Jay sang it with Landy at her concert....obviously, I prefer his voice to Jacky's...lol!
And this one is with Lara viz Coral Sea aka Shan Hu Hai. Watch Vincent Fang in this MV....very engaging performance! He should consider going into acting. ;)
I'm now awaiting the MV for Piano Injury aka Qin Shang from his latest album...keep watching this space!
